Pre-GROW
The entrepreneurial journey often starts with a first business idea. However, valuable business ideas are hard to find. The Opportunity Recognition Workshop is designed for entrepreneurial students to find promising business opportunities and develop valuable business ideas. Teams and individuals with an already existing ideas are also invited to conceptualize and re-fine their ideas to have a profound start in the GROW contest. In the Opportunity Recognition Workshop, you will analyze and align your core values and core competences with the market needs to identify business opportunities you want to exploit. Kickoff
Find an idea, find a team and learn more about the contest. The kickoff is where the fun starts, no matter whether you have already applied or whether you're still undecided. We will present everything you need to know about the contest and give you a chance to find an idea and/or teammates. And the 11 weeks of work will start right away. Agenda: - What is GROW and why should you participate? - What events will take place? - Pitch your idea spontaneously in 60 sec. - Network with the other founders and find teammates This year, the kickoff will take place online. We're still developing the digital format and will update you for more details, so stay tuned!

PG Academy
The PionierGarage offers you as a team the opportunity to participate in our university group's own workshop in cooperation with the start-up competition Grow and to dive into the world of start-ups. In a 1.5-day workshop we will introduce you to the basics and basic methodologies of developing and validating a business model. The focus will be on practical work in combination with short impulse lectures from us. We also want to facilitate an exchange of ideas so that we can talk about your idea and develop it further. Did we arouse your interest? Due to current Corona-situation we will offer a digital version of the PG Academy. The workshops will take place from November 28-29 and December 01-02. Workshop "Jobs to be done"
Jobs to be Done is a validated and effective methodology that aims to validate your business idea and explicitly understand the core value of your product. By segmenting the potential customers and understanding their needs, the value proposition of your product or service becomes spot on.




Workshop "Business Modeling"
Having a Business Idea and a sound value proposition is not enough to start the business engine. The Business Model Workshop lets you develop, analyze,discuss and validate your business model including the revenue streams, communication channels, identifying key activities and key partners.




Midterm
Teams pitch their progress in the first half and fight about advancing. Half time break! Pitch what you've done in the last 5 weeks in front of a small audience and a jury. The judges will select 10 teams out of all participants to continue with the second half of the content and ultimately the final. Agenda: - Pitch your progress and show off your prototype - What will happen in the second half? - Announcement of the 10 finalists

Workshop "Pitch Training"
To present your business idea and convince potential partners, investors and other stakeholders, the pitch training will prepare you and your team for a sound presentation of your business model.

10:00 - 13:00



Final
Pitch your results of the contest and win prizes. This is what you've been working for! Pitch one last time in front of a huge audience and show what you've learned and how far you have come. Every pitch is followed by a short round of questions by the judges before you can get a chance at winning one of the prizes. Agenda: - Final pitches of everything the teams have worked for - Review of all previous events - Prize ceremony
